Kedarkantha: Himalayan Winter Trek — Guides, Itineraries & Tour Packages

Kedarkantha is one of Uttarakhand’s most accessible Himalayan treks, famed for pine forests, open meadows, winter snow and wide views of the Garhwal ranges. It suits beginners with reasonable fitness, families with older children and first-time snow trekkers, though cold and altitude require preparation. October to April is generally suitable, with more dependable snow from December to March. Most travellers reach Dehradun by road, rail or air, continue by shared or private vehicle to Sankri, and begin the 4–6-day trek from there.
