Donald Trump, the President of the United States, met with Kim Jong-Un the North Korean Leader on 12th of June 2018 in Capella Singapore. It was the first-ever summit meeting between the leaders of the two countries.

News agency AFP Reports that document signed by Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un Commits to “establish new US-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity”. Agency further says that Kim Jong-Un commits to ‘Complete Denuclearization of Korean Peninsula’ in the joint text.
India welcomes the United States – DPRK Summit held in Singapore.
