Nagpur, Orange city of Maharashtra, Faced a flood all over the city on 6th July. The rainwater is known as the purest water we know very well. If we try to collect and store or to use technology to control floods we can at least decrease the chances of heavy losses. But the Government shows no responsibility in controlling this dangerous situation.
CM Devendra Fadnavis distributing compensation but life cannot be compensated. People should ask the question about this issue or this situation can be returned in future, maybe worse than this time. We have to be prepared. Why our Government is not taking any action. Every citizen faced a problem, many slums became a drain, and they lost their houses, cars, money and lot more. Is Government really aware, What is the weather Bureau doing, why the Government cannot think of this, We have the technology, We produce the highest number of engineers, we spent over a thousand crore Rupees in an IPL, We are the fastest growing economy of the world as we know; But our Government can’t just solve a small problem before it occurs.
It is not the first time, it’s happening in Nagpur; before 2 years Nagpur has faced a similar problem. Is the State Government sleeping and not just Nagpur, Mumbai has also faced the same problem.
It is not about any political party; it’s about an action plan. If the government is unable to do anything. Our citizens have to do something. Our great Constitution gives us the right to ask, to know about solutions Government giving or not giving.
It is Time to think that if we can collect a big crowd to go to movie theatres and stadiums then we also can ask for a permanent solution from the government about the issue.
