Mark Zuckerberg is a technology entrepreneur and philanthropists of America. He born in White Plains NewYork at may 14, 1984. Later he Joined Harvard University where he started Facebook with his roommates Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes. And then this small work of this group literally became popular among all the students of Harvard. The popularity of Facebook jammed the server and university banned it. Later with help of some friends, Mark restarted Facebook. In May, 2012 Zuckerberg took Facebook in public platform. His net worth is estimated the US $66.4 Billion as of April 19, 2018. On Forbes list of the World’s most powerful people, Mark Zuckerberg is 10th in rank.
In his early life, he learned to programme. He designed a program called ZuckNet to connect all his house’s computers and all his father’s dental office’s computers together to share data. He also designed some video games. A writer Jose Antonio Vargas writes about Mark Zuckerberg “Some Kids played computer games. Mark is the kid who created them”. Vargas also says that in his early years in Harvard he gained “reputation as a programming prodigy”.
Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard. Later in may 2017, he received an Honorary Degree from Harvard. Zuckerberg met Indian PM Narendra Modi, Satya Nadella and Sundar Pichai to discuss about providing affordable internet and he changed his profile picture to show his support to the digital India. Zuckerberg has done a lot of work for philanthropy as he donated a large amount of his money to curing of EBOLA Virus Disease in Africa. He also donated 18 million shares to the Silicon Valley Community Foundation to empower education.
Zuckerberg met Priscilla Chan during his student life at Harvard. They dated and later in 2012 they got married. Now the couple has 2 Daughters and having a happy life. Zuckerberg is also very popular in China as he has been worked for several educational events.
This Great tech entrepreneur has also been accused by Harvard’s senior students to misuse their idea and work. Initially, when Zuckerberg was about to start Facebook he asked his senior students Cameron Winklevoss, Tyler Winklevoss and Divya Narendra for help but they helped him because they been told that this work will create a social network called Harvard connection but instead of that Mark Launched Facebook. The three filed a lawsuit against Zuckerberg and that resulted in a settlement for 1.2 million Facebook shares.
